DACIA Duster it is sold in a variety of models at the moment by the manufacturer from Mioveni, and since the beginning of this year we also have a version with an LPG engine available. What we don't have at the moment, but would be very useful in Romania, is a model of the DACIA Duster that is hybrid, i.e. has an electric motor that drivers can use for the short journeys they make around the city in their lives everyday, at work, shopping, walking.
DACIA Duster has a hybrid model in the works at the moment, but it is not known to what extent the suspension of the factory in Mioveni, due to the Coronavirus, affects the plans for its launch. A hybrid model of the DACIA Duster would be very useful for those who spend a lot of time in cities, and only occasionally go on trips to the mountains or the sea, and could seriously contribute even to the reduction of pollution in cities where there are a lot of cars .

DACIA Duster there are no rumors indicating how a hybrid platform could be implemented, but we would more than likely be talking about a low-power electric motor supported by a battery, which could provide several tens of kilometers of autonomy. The implementation of hybrid technology together with one that offers propulsion on fuel is not something cheap, and even if the DACIA Duster will benefit from a platform reused after being used by Renault, the costs will still not be that low for its integration.
DACIA Duster was at the center of rumors suggesting that the hybrid version will be launched sometime next year, but the whole situation brought about by the Coronavirus could substantially change DACIA's plans.
