The Romanian Police has started to intensify traffic controls, lately the authorities have been trying to discover people who transport weapons, drugs, or various objects prohibited by law.
"What for some would seem like routine traffic controls, is actually a 24-hour effort for community safety and crime fighting.
The police from Galati discovered, following a night action, dangerous objects in the trunks of cars stopped in traffic, they detected drivers under the influence of alcohol at the wheel, as well as a man wanted by the Italian authorities."
