DACIA Duster it appears today in one of the most interesting tests to date, being put face to face with the Nissan Patrol Y60 and the Volkswagen Touareg, all of which, of course, were driven on an offroad circuit that puts it to the test. None of the car models you see here are the latest for each individual brand, but even so, we are talking about cars that do very well in everything they do.
DACIA Duster it is the second version, but the car itself is several years old, that Volkswagen Touareg is a model launched quite a few years ago, and the Nissan Patrol Y60 is older than the other two combined. Despite this, both the DACIA Duster, the Nissal Patrol Y60, or the Volkswagen Touareg perform surprisingly well in the offroad tests to which they are subjected, even though they have very different engines.

DACIA Duster it has the weakest engine of all, only 115 horsepower, the Nissan Patrol Y6 having 170 horsepower, while the Volkswagen Touareg has 240 horsepower, and of course including the torque differs for each of them. Of all three cars, only the Nissan Patron Y60 is a car designed for off-road use, while the DACIA Duster and Volkswagen Touareg are cars designed mainly for the city, and occasional off-road escapades.
DACIA Duster has repeatedly demonstrated that it is able to run without problems on almost any kind of rough terrain, and what we see in the video clip above is absolutely nothing different. DACIA Duster manages to a good extent to keep up with the other two cars in this test, which is also normal, after all, because we are talking about a reliable, versatile car, designed to satisfy many needs of the customers who buy it .
DACIA Duster it could have an even more serious improvement of its off-road performance in the next version that will be launched by DACIA, but we will learn more about this in the coming years.
