UBER: THE SHOCKING INCIDENT, what a Passenger Did in a Race

UBER is again at the center of a shocking incident, here's what a passenger who called a car for a ride did, and what you should learn from it.

UBER protection

UBER is at the center of a shocking incident that also involves the police because we are talking about a crime that shows us what stage the world has reached at the moment due to the very big problems generated by the Coronavirus pandemic. According to the UK authorities, a passenger hit and forced an UBER driver to climb into the trunk of the car with which he came for a ride after the driver refused to take him in the car because he was not wearing a protective mask.

UBER obliges all its drivers to wear a protective mask during the trips they make with passengers, the latter having the same obligation vis-à-vis the drivers whose car they get into for transportation. The 33-year-old British passenger, who we are talking about now, got so angry after the UBER driver's refusal to transport him without wearing a protective mask that he hit him with the car door, then forced him into the trunk of the car to get where he wanted to go.

UBER: THE SHOCKING INCIDENT, what a Passenger Did in a Race

UBER he didn't find out about the incident until after it was reported to the police, and that's how he found out that the passenger was seriously under the influence of alcoholic beverages, going out that evening in the city to celebrate the reopening of the bars, the event taking place on July 4. The passenger had been kicked out of a taxi just a few minutes before calling the UBER car to take him home, for exactly the same reason, the refusal to wear a mask during the trip.

"Kerry Battram, 33, repeatedly slammed Idolomahv's car door after he refused to drive him home unless he wore a face mask. The driver refused to take Battram home on July 4, when revelers came to Soho to celebrate the reopening of bars. Battram punched Mr Idolomahv before pushing him into the boot of the car and slamming the door on him repeatedly "at least three times".

UBER he supports his drivers in such incidents, but the passenger refused to admit before the court, where he was sent as a defendant by the prosecutors, that he attacked the driver, saying that things were exactly the opposite. The witnesses of the incident however confirmed the fact that the passenger attacked the UBER driver, and did exactly what he described, so that the passenger was considered unreliable by the UK judges.

UBER requires wearing a protective mask in cars for a very simple reason, the risk of infection being extremely high in a small and closed space, so both people must protect themselves in such a situation.
