Well, the procedure for transferring the customers of Telekom's landline division to Orange Romania is already in full preparation because a series of details must be established to make everything as simple as possible and without any customer feeling anything negative.
Telekom and Orange Romania want to start the process of transferring customers between the two companies on September 1, 2021, so quite a long time away, during which everything will have to be prepared. Moving millions of accounts and control over an infrastructure of national importance between two companies is not exactly something simple, and that's why Telekom established together with Orange Romania a deadline that would allow the establishment of all the details so that the process could proceed smoothly.

Telekom will remain in Romania only with the mobile services division, some of which will leave for Orange as part of convergent subscriptions, and the company that will remain will be the fourth largest telecommunications operator. Telekom will remain below those from DIGI Mobil in terms of the number of customers in Romania, and this is because the fixed services division has more customers than the mobile services, which in recent years has lost millions of people.
Telekom will try to make the transfer of clients as simple as possible, without them feeling the change in any negative way, so theoretically there should not be any big problems in the process.
