Romania Serious Evolution New Restrictions Officially Reimposed

Romania is registering a very serious evolution of the Coronavirus pandemic in the 4th wave, with new restrictions officially reimposed for Romanians from all over the country, and this in the conditions that yesterday a record number of new cases was registered for the year 2021, numbers which have not been reported since 2020.

Romania currently has re-imposed restrictions in no less than 30 cities throughout the territory, and this is because the incidence rates in them have exceeded the value of 3/1000 inhabitants, many of them moving towards values ​​of 6/ 1000 inhabitants, from which point even tougher restrictions will be imposed.

Romania has reimposed restrictions in: Negresti Oas, Hoezu, Viseu de Sus, Baile Govora, Bechet, Bragadiru, Satu Mare, Bistrita, Otopeni, Slanic, Azuga, Timisoara, Popesti-Leordeni, Voluntari, Radauti, Solca, Baia Mare, Harlau, Buzias, Seini, Rosiorii de Vede, Ardud, Jimbolia, Cluj-Napoca, Magurele, Sebis, Campulung Moldovedenesc, Deta, Turnu Magurele, Campina, Botosani, Baia Sprie, Siret.

Among all these cities, Romania also has several county seats, which makes the situation all the more complicated because we are talking about big cities where things are much worse than just a few weeks ago, and all because of the Delta variant which is spreading rapidly throughout the country.

Romania is unfortunately moving towards ever-increasing numbers when it comes to daily infections, and this is because the number of registered cases continues to grow without stopping, which in the end could lead to serious restrictions being re-imposed throughout the country, not just in localities, for to reduce the mass spread of the virus.
