Instagram Announces New Important Changes Users

Instagram has officially announced important changes for its users around the world, the American company wanting to offer people serious improvements for the experience they benefit from within the application for phones.

Instagram has implemented improvements for the security level of the accounts, for the administration of the activity within the platform, along with an option through which we can offer our friends the opportunity to help us in case we lost the account, or it was stolen.

“Last summer, we introduced Security Check for people whose accounts may have been hacked. Now this feature is available to everyone worldwide.

Security Checkup guides people through the steps needed to secure their account, including: checking sign-in activity, reviewing profile information, confirming accounts that share sign-in information, and updating account recovery contact information, such as a phone number or an email address.

People will now be able to bulk manage (delete, archive) their content (posts, stories, videos and footage) and their interactions (comments, likes, story sticker reactions, etc.).

Additionally, people will be able to sort and filter their content and interactions by date, and search past comments, likes and replies to stories from specific date ranges, all in one place.

To help people who have lost access to their accounts, we're testing a way for people to ask their friends to confirm their identity and regain access to their account. We'll have more to share about this feature soon.

When you post something that violates the Community Guidelines, it will appear in your Account Status. To access Account Status, go to your profile and tap the menu in the upper right corner, then tap Settings, then tap Account, then tap Account Status.

Here you will be able to see if any of your posts have been removed and if your account is at risk of being disabled. If you think we've made a mistake, you can appeal by pressing 'Request a review' directly from Account Status."
