The Minister of Defense sends an extremely serious notice to the millions of Romanians all over the country regarding Russia, and this because he reveals to us the fact that recently Russian planes have been very close to the country's airspace to test the vigilance of the police forces aerial.
The Minister of Defense also says that more than 1.000 soldiers from NATO will arrive in Romania to strengthen the force that exists in our country, so that in total there will be more than 5.000 soldiers of the alliance in our country to ensure the safety of the land and air borders .
"It is possible that in the future those drifting mines, out of control from the chains with which the Black Sea coast was mined, will reach us, and here we also have Italian and Turkish forces, we also have 3 ships and helicopters with which we supervise this area where it could appear.
Such incidents on the border of a contact were also before the beginning of this conflict, they were quite frequent this fall as well, and now they still happen, but they did not lead to incidents, and were dealt with by us, by NATO, with pragmatism, and no incident occurred, but this shows Russia's efforts to check the NATO reaction force in this area.
We are prepared, and if they wanted to check this, they saw that the multinational air police in this area, we were also talking about the three aircraft carriers that are in the Mediterranean Sea, and which are prepared to respond to a possible attack, they had something to see, they saw that we were prepared and that's probably why they didn't follow up on these air meetings.
At this moment, there are 3.936 foreign soldiers in Romania. Obviously, it will follow in a very short time, but we don't know exactly because not all the preparations have been made, but we are sure that we are also preparing for the arrival of that battlegroup from the 4 established at the NATO summit on March 24, and we will have another 1.000 soldiers in which France is the frame nation.
We already have discussions with our colleagues, friends from NATO, we also have contacts with other countries who answered us very quickly, and we will have around 5.000 foreign soldiers on our territory. They join the Romanian armed forces, because every day they get to train with our soldiers."
