Russia is preparing to launch a very strong offensive in the Donbas region, its aim being to conquer the cities of Popasna, Rubizhne, Nyzhne, and Novobakhmutivka, but these would not be the only ones targeted by the Russian army during this period, and this is because including other important objectives still need to be accomplished by the soldiers.
Russia would have proposed that by May 9 it would completely conquer Donbas and Luhansk, and this is because then it celebrates the great day of victory in the Second World War, and Putin would like to show the citizens that the army has fulfilled its objectives to conquer those areas, as initially promised.
