Romanian soldiers participated in the Largest Armed Forces Exercise, AZUR 22.11

The Romanian soldiers from the anti-aircraft defense battalions participated in the largest exercise ever held by the army, called AZUR 22.11, they were present between May 9 and 18 at the Ion Bungescu Shooting Range to perform these exercises.

"More than 300 soldiers from the anti-aircraft defense battalions of the Romanian Air Force participated, between May 9-18, in the largest military exercise ever, "AZUR 22.11", which took place in the Complex Shooting Range within the National Center of Air Defense Training "Brigadier General Ion Bungescu".

As a combat technique used by the military were anti-aircraft guns of caliber 57 mm, Radiotechnical Complexes for Shooting (CRT) and anti-aircraft installations MR4, caliber 14,5 mm.

Platoon- and battalion-level night firings were executed on flares and ground-based radio-controlled aircraft."
