The Romanian Government wants to Simplify the Procedures for Making Investments

During a meeting that took place today at the Victoria Palace, Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca stated that the Romanian Government wants to simplify the making of investments in our country, and you can find the details below.

Prime Minister Nicolae-Ionel Ciucă met, at the Victoria Palace, with the representatives of Merck Sharp & Dohme. On this occasion, the prime minister emphasized the openness shown by the government towards the investments made in the country, especially in the field of research and development, but also for the digitization of the economy and the development of the public health system.

"We want to simplify the procedures for making investments in our country. Being in the process of joining the OECD, which recently approved our roadmap, we are adapting our standards to make them compatible with those of more developed states, including from the perspective of digitization. Education and health are priorities assumed at the executive level, and investments in these fields contribute to increasing the quality of life of Romanians", Prime Minister Nicolae-Ionel Ciucă said.

The MSD delegation announced the opening in Bucharest of the first IT Security hub in the Romanian pharmaceutical industry and the launch of clinical trials in the field of oncology. At the same time, the dialogue focused on the support given to the implementation of the anti-HPV vaccination program, as the main measure of the National Plan to prevent and combat cancer.

The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Health, Alexandru Rafila, the Minister of Research, Innovation and Digitization, Sebastian Burduja, State Councilor George Agafiței and the government spokesman, Dan Cărbunaru.
