Vladimir Putin released a message asking for unity between the countries that are part of the BRICS, and this because he hopes that a continued collaboration between them will be enough to face the sanctions that the Western world has imposed against Russia because of the war from Ukraine.
Vladimir Putin says that the selfish actions of some Western countries have generated a global economic crisis that the whole world is feeling at the moment, and whose effects will be very long-term, without mentioning, however, that the war in Ukraine is at the base their application, in the end.
Vladimir Putin is trying to get support within the BRICS for what he is doing at the moment in Ukraine, his actions are generating unprecedented problems for the whole world, but despite all this, the Kremlin leader is focused on ways to deal with them, not on giving up the war in Ukraine.
"Only on the basis of honest and mutually beneficial cooperation can we look for ways out of this crisis situation, which has developed in the global economy due to the ill-conceived, selfish actions of certain states.
We are convinced that now, more than ever, the leadership of the BRICS countries is needed to develop a unifying, positive course towards the formation of a truly multipolar system of intergovernmental relations. The BRICS nations can count on the support of many states in Asia, Africa and Latin America that strive to pursue an independent policy.”
