According to the French press, the DACIA Duster 3 is going to come with a different 4×4 system than what we have been hearing for the last few months, and this is a major surprise.
DACIA Duster 3 would have an all-wheel drive system, 4×4, mechanical, not composed of an internal combustion engine, and an electric one, as has been repeatedly said by various press organizations around the world . The French press now tells us that the DACIA Duster 3 is going to be launched by DACIA with a classic 4x4 system, even if the car will be produced on the CMF-B platform, including at the factory in Romania.

DACIA Duster 3 was presented as having a different 4×4 system than the current one, and this is because at the DACIA plant in Mioveni it would not be easy to assemble it on the CMF-B platform in such a formula, but here is how things are would be different. It seems that the DACIA Duster 3 would be produced without too much trouble with 4×4 all-wheel drive, including a fully mechanical version in Romania, or at least that's what we're being suggested now.
The DACIA Duster 3 would switch from 2026, or 2027, to a new all-wheel drive system that would be composed of an electric engine and an internal combustion engine, which of course does not come as too much of a surprise, considering all the rumours. Since then the new EURO 7 standard will come into force, and those from DACIA will have to comply with other specifications, it was expected that the DACIA Duster 3 would need such a change.
DACIA Duster 3 would be officially presented in the fall of 2023, as has already been said many times, but the car could only arrive somewhere around the beginning of 2024, at least based on current rumors.
