TUMAK 22: The Romanian Army Participates in International Exercises with NATO Allies

TUMAK 22 Romanian Army Participates in International Exercises with NATO Allies

The Romanian Army participated in the international exercise TUMAK 22, which took place together with the dough from NATO, and this is because we are talking about a joint training that the Romanian and Polish soldiers did at a military objective in an allied country.

In recent months, the Romanian Army has participated in many international military exercises together with many NATO allies, something that is of course perfectly normal in the context of the war in Ukraine, and most likely these collaborations will continue.

Joint training in the TUMAK 22 exercise.

The soldiers of the "Sky Guardians" Air Defense Detachment participated in a MASCAL exercise that took place within TUMAK 22, a multinational exercise organized by the 15th Mechanized Brigade from Poland, which also integrated the soldiers of the NATO Battle Group.

The scenario of the exercise was fictitious, and the main objective was to analyze the reactions of the medical staff in the case of a very large number of victims as a result of an attack.

MASCAL exercise scenarios are constructed in such a way that the number, type or severity of casualty injuries exceed the capacity and capabilities of a medical formation.

Starting from October this year, for approximately 6 months, the soldiers of the Air Defense Detachment - Sky Guardians, a structure generated by the 288th Air Defense Battalion "Milcov" from Focșani, are deployed in the Bemowo Piskie training base in Poland, where they will train in a multinational environment alongside American, British, Croatian and Polish allies under the coordination of the Joint Forces Command.
