E.ON officially informs all customers in Romania, through a last-minute announcement, about a series of very important changes regarding the invoices they will receive for their monthly consumption, and this is because a series of legislative changes impose these changes.
E.ON talks below about the new law that was promulgated regarding energy price caps starting from January 1, 2023, they will be valid until March 31, 2025, and as you can see below, we are talking about prices different depending on the consumption achieved.

What's new for the domestic electricity customer? In the period January 1, 2023 – March 31, 2025, the final price at which you will be billed will be a maximum of 0,68 lei/kWh, including VAT if: a) you will consume monthly between 0 and 100 kWh inclusive; b) you use devices, apparatus or medical equipment necessary to carry out the treatments; c) you have at least 3 dependent children up to 18 years old, respectively 26 years old if they follow a form of education.
You represent a single-parent family and have at least one dependent child up to the age of 18, or 26 if they are in education. You will pay a maximum of 0,80 lei/kWh, including VAT, if: you will consume monthly between 100,01 and 255 kWh inclusive You will consume monthly between 100,01 and 255 kWh inclusive.
