Electricity customers benefit from compensation for household appliances damaged as a result of power surges. Details on how to grant them can be consulted in the Procedure approved by Order no. 177/2015. Electricity and natural gas customers can receive compensation from the network/distribution operator if the indicators provided for in the Performance Standards for electricity and natural gas distribution services are not met.
The payment of these compensations is made automatically through the suppliers, directly to the customer's account. Also, the value of these compensations will be included on the energy bill.
