Continuing the series of information about iPhone 5 we learn today that on September 12 the device would be available for pre-order on the Apple website, and the first units to Europe and the rest of the month would be delivered to customers in the first week of October. In the USA, the terminal would be launched on September 21, as was initially rumored, but the launch in Europe, Japan and other countries around the world would only take place on October 5, Apple applying this strategy in the case the launch of the iPad tablet.
A couple of weeks ago iMore reported that Apple would be holding their iPhone 5 event on September 12, 2012. We've since learned that iPhone 5 pre-orders are currently planned to begin that same day, at least in the US Release is still planned for 9 days later, on September 21, 2012. We've also learned that the second wave of iPhone launches, the ones in international markets, will begin in the first week of October, likely October 5.
This change is probably due to the fact that Apple does not have enough units of iPhone 5 ready for sale, and the two weeks between the US and international launch would provide plenty of time to produce enough units to meet demand. This new information from iMore I agree with those "coming" from AT&T, both websites having credible sources in the past.
It will reach us at the end of October... :(
If they really have problems with stocks, then it is possible that they will arrive only in November.
Hi Zaone, I also have a problem with a new iPhone 3gs bootrom manufactured after the 34th week or so, wifi bluetooth and modem firmware do not appear, what can be done, I'm not interested in free decoding, just let it work
[…] Less than a month separates us from the conference where Apple will present the iPhone 5 terminal, but the official launch could take place a little later than initially anticipated. Even so, […]
If it really takes that long until the iPhone 5 arrives in Romania and if they are wanted, a few days before they go on sale in Apple stores, I will go to the USA to buy them, arriving in Romania on September 25 or 26 (if respects the announced release dates of the iPhone 5).
I can bring 3 devices at the official price with US tax written in the tax receipt issued by the store plus approximately 1000 lei / device representing plane ticket expenses.
For the safety of both parties, an agreement will be concluded at the notary with the opening of a bank account in which the advance will be deposited according to the mentioned agreement and from which money will be withdrawn only with the agreement and in the presence of both parties upon the physical delivery of the device.
Wait, for the price of $700, do you add another $300? So, what would convince someone to give you money instead of buying it here?
The price difference at the moment for iPhone 4S 64Gb between Apple.com and emag.ro is 650 lei in favor of apple, so up to 1000 lei it would be 350 lei more than the likely price in Romania, but it is no longer wait until it arrives in Romania (in the comment above, zaone, you said that it is likely to arrive in November). There are probably interested people. I initiated this proposal not as a business, the 3000 lei for 3 devices does not fully cover the round-trip transport, then the expenses are high enough for me to stay there for a few days, to wait in those famous queues at the store, but those it represents my part of the expense as I also want to get one.
I mention that I'm not trying to convince anyone, I just wanted to respond to the comment.
iPhone 5 16 GB will arrive at that price directly to us in October.
[…] The list is made taking into account the releases of previous years, but this year it is rumored that the iPhone 5 will be released on October 21 only in the USA and on October 5 in the rest of the world, and Romania could be part of the second third of launches , the one from 19 […]
