AKTA – Mobile Phone Subscriptions with Prices like Digi Mobil

AKTA is the new mobile phone operator in Romania, which has subscriptions as low as Digi Mobil, but with Telekom quality.

ACTA is the new mobile phone operator in Romania that I told you about yesterday, when I told you that DCS will enter this market starting August 15. AKTA is the brand under which the company's mobile phone services will be sold in Romania and today it was learned that the prices to be charged will be extremely close to those charged by Digi Mobil for its own services.

AKTA will not be a mobile operator in the true sense of the word, but will be a virtual mobile operator, MNVO, operating through the Telekom network. In this idea, AKTA will practically resell services based on the infrastructure of Telekom, but will do so at prices that are extremely close to those that Digi Mobil currently charges for services sold in Romania.

AKTA will sell mobile phone subscriptions at prices starting from only 2 euros per month, so extremely close to what Digi Mobil offers. AKTA mobile phone subscriptions will include network minutes, national minutes, roaming minutes, or mobile internet in Romania, but everything will be delivered through Telekom's network, so the quality will not be as good as many people hope.

AKTA – the new Telephony Operator with Prices like Digi Mobile

AKTA already sells subscriptions for fixed internet, fixed telephony and cable television, so mobile telephony completes the offer of the Romanian company. After the launch of mobile phone subscriptions, AKTA will also sell "convergent" packages that include all 4 services in one package, so that interested people will be able to use all 4 services and pay for them in one bill.

AKTA will clearly compete with those from Digi Mobil, considering the subscription prices, but the network from Telekom will not help them very much. Digi Mobil at least has its own infrastructure, unlike AKTA, but it also uses the Vodafone network where it has no coverage, while AKTA remains without this benefit where Telekom has a bad network and there are many areas.

AKTA is a mobile phone operator that can attract Orange, Telekom or Vodafone customers to its services, but without its own infrastructure it will have limited success. Also, the problems that the Telekom network has will generate big headaches for those at AKTA and customers, so it will be interesting to see how they will try to solve this problem in the future.
