The Dev Team has unlocked only one SIM card, they are working on a permanent unlock solution

I told you last night that the Dev Team will not release an unlock solution in the near future, but I didn't tell you why. MuscleNerd talked almost all night with different people who cursed him, the Dev Team, Sherif Hashim, whoever they could and to be honest I completely understand. Among the answers given to others, MuscleNerd explained that the unlock solution he developed works on only one SIM card, his T-Mobile SIM card. Practically, he could not unlock any other phone with that unlock solution and he realized this "too late". I know that the story is very "stupid", but this is what he chose to tell the whole world on Twitter.

To sweeten the situation, MuscleNerd said he found a method that could lead to the permanent decoding of iPhones. We are talking about the NCK-key, the code that Apple sends to the terminals that you decode for a fee to Orange or to various other people. This NCK-key is very difficult to crack, the operation requiring several "light years" of hacking, but the Dev Team managed to find a method to crack only the last 5 digits of this code. These last 5 digits are part of a 40-bit code that could theoretically be cracked in a week if you leave a computer dedicated to cracking it. The problem is that this code is unique for each terminal and now the Dev Team is looking for a simple method to crack the code and provide permanent decoding for everyone.

You can find the full explanation here. I for one am not impressed, but I also don't understand why some would threaten Sherif Hashim with death.
