Publicatia Wall Street Journal a obtinut informatii de la surse apropiate companiei Apple despre tableta iPad 2 si confirma in mare parte zvonurile aparute pana acum. Conform celor de la WSJ, iPad 2 va avea un ecran cu rezolutie similara(nu identica) cu cea a tabletei iPad, va fi mai subtire, mai usoara, va avea un procesor mai puternic, mai mult RAM si un procesor grafic nou. Tableta ar urma sa fie produsa in 3 versiuni : 3G CDMA, 3G GSM si Wi-Fi Only, Apple producand in momentul de fata noul produs care ar urma sa fie lansat atat la AT&T cat si la reteaua Verizon unde recent a fost lansat si terminalul iPhone 4.
Apple Inc. has started manufacturing a new version of its iPad tablet computer with a built-in camera and faster processor, said people familiar with the matter. The new iPad will be thinner and lighter than the first model, these people said. It will have at least one camera on the front of the device for features like video-conferencing, but the resolution of the display will be similar to the first iPad, these people said. It will also have more memory and a more powerful graphics processor, they said. The new iPad will initially be available through Verizon Wireless and AT&T Inc., but not Sprint Nextel Corp. or T-Mobile USA in the U.S., according to some of the people familiar with the matter.
Tableta ar urma sa aiba si 2 camere, una frontala si una montata in partea din spate iar clipul video prezentat de mine astazi confirma din nou ca acest lucru este adevarat. WSJ sustine ca Apple a inceput deja sa produca noul model al tabletei, insa nu specifica o posibila data pentru prezentarea sau lansarea sa. Cei de la WSJ sustin totusi ca noul model al tabletei ar urma sa aiba un pret similar cu cel al actualei versiuni.
