Hands-Free Control este un tweak lansat ieri in Cydia care permite posesorilor de iDevice-uri sa foloseasca asistentul personal Siri fara a il activa folosind butonul Home al propriului iDevice. Tweak-ul ruleaza un proces tot timpul in background si prin simpla rostire a cuvantului Siri in microfonul terminalului vostru veti activa asistentul personal din iOS 5. Desigur ca puteti rosti comenzi intregi catre Siri daca ele incep cu denumirea sa si indiferent ce comanda rostiti ea va fi rulata daca Siri este configurat sa faca acest lucru.
Hands-Free Control provides a continuous listening service on your device to activate voice functions, even while in sleep mode. When you speak the keyword, Siri (on the iPhone 4S or via Spire on other devices) or Voice Control will be activated without pressing any buttons, and then wait for further voice input. Normally you have to press and hold the home button for several seconds to activate these voice functions, but now with this app these features are completely hands-free! Just speak the keyword! The service also works with headphones and bluetooth headsets.
Selecting your keyword, sensitivity adjustment to the keyword, settings regarding battery efficiency, and more are provided in the Settings app inside “Hands-Free Control.” An SBSettings toggle is also provided for quickly and easily switching the service on or off. Because Hands-Free Control runs continuously in the background noticeable battery usage is to be expected while enabled. Cea mai interesanta parte a Hands-Free Control sta in faptul ca el functioneaza si cu Siri instalat pe vechile iDevice-uri deci daca ati folosit Spire pentru a instalat Siri veti putea activa asistentul prin simpla rostire a numelui sau. Din pacate Hands-Free nu imbunatateste in vreun fel functionalitatea Siri, nu ajuta dispozitivul sa se conecteze la serverele Apple si nu instaleaza Siri. Hands-Free Control este disponibil pentru 2.99$ in Cydia.
