Sin City este cunoscut pentru o multime de lucruri si una dintre ele este legendara capela Las Vegas, unde oricine se poate casatori. Dar, un singur om a avut o nunta bizara in Vegas, care este bizara chiar si dupa standardele orasului.
Intelegem ca pentru foarte multi dintre noi smartphone-ul este mai important decat orice alt lucru palpabil, dar sa fie mai important decat partenerii de viata sau chiar parinti!?
Pentru unii se pare ca da, altfel nu-mi explic cum un barbat si ar duce dragostea vietii sale ( smartphone-ul ) in fata unui altar, casatorindu-se la Las Vegas. Evident, de la ceremonie nu a lipsit nici simbolul acestor evenimente, un inel.
Trecand totusi la realitate si la adevarata intentie Chervenak a facut si o declaratie – a vrut sa transmita pur si simplu un mesaj catre societate. Si pe buna dreptate. Oamenii sunt incredibil de conectate la smartphone-urile lor. Acesta este adesea primul si ultimul lucru pe care oamenii vad in fiecare zi le cunoaste preferintele, comportamentul, locati, și gusturile, probabil, mult mai bine decat familia si prietenii. Ele sunt cu noi 24/7. Smartphone-urile stiu cati bani avem, ce ne place, ce uram, unde petrecem, si mult mai mult de atat.
In acelasi timp, a ramas casatorit cu propriul telefon. Iata cum a decurs ceremonia:
“Think of all of the love and laughter you have shared, all the good times you’ve had, all the reasons you’re here today at this altar, pledging your eternal love and commitment to each other.” – oficialul
Chervenak stood tall. The officiant continued:
“Do you, Aaron, take this smartphone to be your lawfully wedded wife, and do you also promise to love her, honor her, comfort and keep her, and be faithful to her?”
“I do,” Chervenak said, and then the groom placed his wife on his left ring finger, since the wife had a nifty little ring attached to her plastic cover.
“My smartphone has been my longest relationship,” artist-director Chervenak explained in a YouTube video.
“We connect with our phones on so many emotional levels. We look to it for solace, to calm us down, to put us to sleep, to ease our minds,” he said in the video.
