The cost of broadband connections

raw You have attached a graph that represents the average cost of a megabit of broadband connection compared to $1 for the first 20 countries in the ITIF (Innovation Technology & Innovation Foundation) ranking. Eastern Europe is the leader with the highest price per megabit in the entire ranking, Poles paying approximately $14 for 1 megabit of broadband connection per month. Not far away are the Portuguese with $10 per month and at half the distance are the Canadians with $6.50. The most powerful nation in the world, the USA is in 15th place with $3.33 per megabit. It is not at all surprising that Sweden, Korea and Japan are on the podium, the citizens of these countries paying less than $1 per megabit of broadband connection.

Making a small comparison with what RDS offers, i.e. 50 mbits for 9 euros, I would say that if Romania had been in that ranking, only on the basis of the services offered by RDS it would have occupied a leading place.
