Last night was a special one for Google fans, after all announce a few days ago a possible launch of the new operating system of those from Google, Chrome OS, here is that last night during the press conference scheduled by the giant from Mountain View, the first news came: no beta version of the system has been released yet, the launch of the operating system will most likely be in about a year and the most interesting news, the source code of the new operating system will be available for download starting today for all those interested. In the new system, the applications will be web based, which means a much shorter opening time, fewer occupied resources and a much better performance in terms of browsing speed and data processing. The Vice President of Google went so far as to compare the speed of "starting" the new operating system with that of opening a TV, will we be able to witness the first operating system that boots in a few seconds? I think not...
The guys from Google put the point on the I and as far as malware is concerned, we know very well that most Windows users have big problems with malware, the guys from Google mentioned that thanks to the new code of Google Chrome OS that allows running web style applications will allow a much easier detection and eradication of malware.
Good or bad, as of today the source code is available for download and can be installed on VMWare, will you try it?
