Google Chrome for Mac nearing release

22848 At 10 days after official launch of Google Chrome OS, the Mountain View company is preparing a surprise for Mac users, the release of the Mac version of Google Chrome OS. The head of the team dealing with the Mac version of the operating system, Mike Pinkerton, announced via Twitter that there are still 8 bugs left to solve until the release, but checking list of bug reporting provided by the OS team, I noticed that half of the 8 bugs have already been fixed, so the release day is fast approaching.

Unfortunately, some options will be removed from this beta version to allow Google to resolve all issues by the release date next month.

Here is the list of missing Features:

– Bookmark Manager
– App Mode (allows you to run web apps in their own basic browser window)
- Task Manager
– Gears (allows for offline web app functionality)
– Bookmark syncing
– Multi-touch gestures
– 64-bit support
- Full support for extensions
– Full screen mode (possibly)

I had read in an article of an online publication from Romania that "Google Chrome OS is as fast as the TV" and I have to give them the right, the system literally "flies" and I can't wait to get my hands on a final version .
