Internet conference CES this year held in Las Vegas brought a lot of innovations in the field of mobile phones and especially in the area intended for terminals Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), but a certain product for iPhone / iPod Touch attracted the attention of many editors present at the conference, it is about iType, a physical keyboard for iPhone / iPod Touch.
Without seeing the picture on the left you probably thought it was a small keyboard that connects to the phone and can be used to enter text, well iType is a normal keyboard PC in which the phone is connected in a slot intended for it, writing is done in landscape mode using the device similar to a normal keyboard.
Those who said they want a physical keyboard for iPhone they probably didn't think of something like that because it's much too big, much too expensive and violates the idea of portability. Basically, instead of this keyboard, you can take a laptop with you and implicitly you can do many more things, and the price of $70, approx. €45 is not very attractive. The creators of the keyboard say that it is a product intended for people who work a lot iPhone, but I imagine that if you have something really important to do, you use a PC/laptop, not an oversized keyboard with a iPhone that has a 3.5-inch screen to draft articles or write long emails.
The keyboard is not yet available for sale, but it will be later this year, but I wonder who will buy it?
