Apple in discussions with AMD for a possible collaboration

AMD, the second producer of desktop/laptop processors in the world is in advanced discussions with Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), for a possible collaboration regarding the introduction of processors AMD and why not the graphic chips ATI in future MacBooks. I'm sure you've heard of AMD si ATI, you probably have a product of at least one of the 2 companies in your computer, and if you do, you probably know that AMD has been in Intel's shadow for a few years in terms of processor performance. If on the processor market AMD the company is not doing so well ATI(what belongs to AMD) is doing great, its graphics processors are extremely sought after, practically ATI being the balloon that holds AMDon the surface for about 2 years.

rumors I say that Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), to get a little tired of waiting after Intel which had problems with stock processors, which is one reason why the new line of MacBooks has been delayed so long, and will work with AMD to introduce its processors to future Macs. Unfortunately, the performance of the processors AMD is clearly lower than Intel's and the transition to platforms AMD could be quite risky for Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), which accustomed its customers to certain levels of performance, and increases of approximately 50% of performance with each upgrade.

It remains to be seen what this collaboration will bring in the end, anyway it will be very interesting to see how Apple will manage to "tweak" the AMD platforms by next year to surpass the current i5/i7 platforms in performance Intel.
