Those from technobuffalo made a comparison between iPhone 4 and Droix X materialized in the video clip above which lasts over 20 minutes. In their comparison, the iPhone 4 came out "almost" equal to the Droix X in terms of performance, the only area in which the iPhone 4 was really better was that of the camera. The quality of pictures/videos taken with the iPhone 4 camera is clearly superior to those taken with the Droid X, even though from a hardware point of view the iPhone 4 has a 5 megapixel camera and the Droid X an 8.
In terms of internet browsing, the Droid X was faster than the iPhone 4, but the people at technobuffalo only tested 2 sites that were pre-loaded, so it's a rather inconclusive test because, from my point of view , at least 2 more sites not previously loaded on the 2 phones should have been tested.
In conclusion, phones equipped with the Android operating system are somewhat faster when surfing the Internet, and I hope that Apple will take note of this and improve the performance of the Safari browser.
