How the iPhone 4 behaves outside the USA

We are of course talking here about signal problems that the iPhone 4 has when it is held in certain positions. I read 2 articles talking about the iPhone 4 and how it works in areas with good/bad coverage, in Canada and Italy. The first article it is related to the way the iPhone 4 behaves with the Rogers operator in Canada: in areas with good coverage everything is ok, the phone loses 1 signal line if it is held improperly, but it does not lose the signal at all and does not hang up calls. In areas with poor coverage, the iPhone 4 lost signal and data connection only once, but this happened only once out of several attempts, and the results for each attempt were varied. In parallel with the iPhone 4, an iPhone 3GS and a Google Nexus One were also tested, both terminals losing signal if the antennas were covered, but none as much as the iPhone 4.

In the second one article I looked at the comments of the users and noticed that most of them say that the iPhone 4 does not lose the signal at all, as it happens in the first videos presented, and it does not close calls either. The signal bars decrease when the antenna is covered but not enough to lose the signal completely and the loss is very little or not at all in areas with good coverage.

In short, the coverage of the antenna has an effect on the quality of the signal, but whether or not the phone loses signal also depends on the coverage of the operator in the respective area. I can't say that Apple has solved the problems with the antenna, I will probably be able to say this/or not only after I get an iPhone 4 myself.
