Hackulo.us and pirated applications

With the legalization of the jailbreak in the USA, many people sounded the alarm about the piracy of applications from the AppStore. Developers are already pressuring Apple to better secure its iOS in order to block the possibility of hackers to jailbreak and break applications, and with the legalization of jailbreak, many of them accused that piracy will increase and this will lead to a decrease in the quality of applications in the AppStore . Those from hackulo.us own the largest website of pirated applications and motivate their activity by the lack of a system that would give users the opportunity to test the applications before buying them. In Romania, the number of those who pirate applications is quite large, but abroad developers win much more than they lose due to piracy.

Apple tried to close the hackulo.us website, but this is practically impossible because hackulo.us does not host the applications directly on their servers, they only post links for download, and this is not illegal. My opinion is that piracy will exist for a long time from now, especially if Apple will not implement a system similar to the one in the Android Market that will allow users to test the applications before paying for them.
