Half of the Apple stores in the US do not have the iPhone 4 in stock

A well-known American analyst a checked the availability of the iPhone 4 terminal in Apple stores in the US, asking 30 stores if they have the terminal in stock, but only 16 of them answered in the affirmative. Although the availability of the terminal is low, the situation has improved compared to July, when the stores did not have pstoc terminals and did not receive anything, and now some of them receive limited amounts daily. Although Apple was subjected to a media attack based on the problems with the antenna, sales did not drop at all, a sign that few Apple fans believed everything that was discussed about these problems.

"We had expected near full in-store availability in the US by now, given it has been several weeks since the iPhone 4 US launch (June 24)," he wrote. "Longer than expected supply shortages are not new to the iPhone. As a point of reference, in last year's September quarter conference call, the company indicated that iPhone supply was constrained in most countries through late Sept. or early Oct. due to better than expected demand of iPhone 3GS."

Unfortunately, the situation is similar in the other countries where Apple sells the iPhone 4 officially, practically nowhere there are enough terminals to satisfy the demand and the situation does not seem to improve soon.
