It seems that in the morning of yesterday the AppStore passed of 250.000 applications supported for iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch, so we now have 2,5 times more applications than Android users have. The increase is truly spectacular considering that in June there were 200.000 applications, and in just 2 months Apple has accepted more than 50.000 applications and there are certainly several hundred/thousands waiting. In addition to accepting a larger number of applications, it seems that Apple has also worked on the acceptance system, so that now an application spends less time "under review", but still the process of accepting an application could take even 2 weeks.
Although there are 250.000 acceptance applications, do not be under any illusions because many of them are of poor quality. There are a lot of completely useless applications and their number is constantly increasing at the expense of the really useful ones.
