Parrot AR.Drone is a very interesting quadricopter made because it can be remote-controlled with an iPhone through an application and the cameras installed inside the device. Looking at the first images that appeared with the Parrot AR.Drone, I imagined that it would be a helicopter with a very beautiful design, clean lines and that its propellers would be mounted separately from the fuselage and would be left free. In reality, the device looks much, much uglier than in the presentation pictures, more precisely, it looks like the picture below:

Anyway, even though it looks ugly, it's definitely a lot of fun to play with something like that outdoors. Notice from the video clip that the device can very easily change the flight direction and is very, very easy to control through the application on the iPhone. Thanks to the 2 cameras installed in it, the device transmits images via WiFi in real time to the application installed in the iPhone, moreover, the application has an augmented reality system implemented so that you have the possibility to control with great accuracy all movements so that you will "crash".

I find the toy very interesting and if I had a big yard then I would probably buy it. Price it is quite high, more precisely $299 in the USA, but if you want it in Romania, then be sure that the price is much higher.
