How does internet browsing speed affect iPhone 4 antenna problems?

We have already talked about the effect of antenna problems on the data connection here si here, but now I did some tests using the speedtest.net application in order to have a clearer picture of the impact on internet browsing speed. In the first picture, I did the test without covering the "sensitive area" and the result is somewhat satisfactory, almost 200KB/s for download and 40KB/s for upload.

Covering the "sensitive area" really had an impact on the speed, but the results were inconclusive because, although I did the test at 23:00 PM, the network was unstable. As a result of the antenna coverage, I managed to reduce the speed almost to half in one of the tests, but the following ones turned out to be close to the initial one, so the effect on the speed is minimal even if the phone only displays a signal bar .

I'm in an area with poor coverage, or my phone doesn't want to connect to the poles it needs because using the application Signal I discovered that my phone does not connect to a 3G mast in the city, but to one located 2-3 km outside the city. I constantly have 3 lines of signal on 3G, both on the iPhone 4 and on the iPhone 3GS.

If you have an iPhone 4, you can also do some similar tests and you can give me the pictures to put in this article to have a clearer idea of how the phone works on different networks.
