Be careful when requesting the replacement of an iPhone in an authorized Apple service

Last night I learned about "patania” to Olix who had a problem with his neverlocked iPhone 4 and had to take it to an authorized Apple service in Romania. The phone was bought in Spain, so it could not be taken to Orange for warranty, so he chose to take it to Orange first Noumax and then to iStyle. Long story short, the people from Noumax agreed to replace it very quickly, but instead of an iPhone 4 neverlocked, they would have received an iPhone 4 coded to Orange England, so not Romania but England. Under these conditions, he turned to the people from iStyle who asked him for the receipt with which the terminal was purchased in order to replace it with an iPhone 4 neverlocked.

As far as I knew, the iPhone 4 terminals exchanged by authorized Apple services in Romania came coded on Orange Romania, not neverlocked or coded on a foreign operator. If you ever need an authorized Apple service in Romania and you are offered to change the terminal, then be sure to find out if the new terminal comes coded/decoded like the one you left.
