Until now, I have heard many times that iPhone 4 terminals were white removed for sale on various online auction sites in the USA, Europe or China. Many of these terminals were actually black iPhone 4s with changed cases, so they were to some extent fake. Well, a website from China claims that in certain areas of the country there are "original" white iPhone 4 terminals available for purchase at prices starting from $830 and reaching up to $1200. It is assumed that these terminals are manufactured in China and are intended only to be used inside the Apple company because the message "for internal use only" is written on their boxes.
It is not known how true the rumor is, but it seems credible because Apple must have made some white iPhone 4s, and if so, then it is more than likely that some of them "escaped" from the factories into the hands of sellers on the black market. In 2008 New York Times claimed that around the world there are around 1.2 million iPhone 4 terminals stolen from Chinese factories and sold on the black market. If the number seems high to you, then probably this article from the Wall Street Journal, which claimed last year that only in China there are 2 million stolen iPhone terminals on the black market, you find it scandalous.
I don't know what Apple is planning to do with these white terminals, but with every article like this, the company is slowly losing a few fans.
