On the official page for iOS 4.2 Apple has published images of compatible terminals and among them we can see the iPod Touch 2G which has wallpapers, a function removed with iOS 4. Besides this "newness" it seems that Apple has added the icon for FaceTime on the iPod Touch 2G/3G/4G, so clearly it is about a copy/paste of the image on the iPod Touch 4G and on the rest of the terminals. Way to go Apple.
