iPad 2 will have a modified design, it will be smaller

According to some sources from China, the new iPad 2 tablet will come with some surprises for those who are already used to the design of the first model. It seems that Apple is thinking of reducing the dimensions of the tablet by 3 millimeters, and the reduction will be made to the black material that surrounds the screen, known as bezel. Many people criticized Apple because it left so much space between the screen and its edges, so now the company will reduce that space and reduce the total size of the tablet by 3 millimeters.

The second change will be found in the back cover of the tablet, which will be flattened to allow a much easier placement on flat surfaces. It seems that Apple will use the design from the current iPod Touches for the back cover of the iPad tablet, so now we can really say that the iPad 2 is a bigger iPod Touch.

The third change consists in the implementation of a wide range speaker new much stronger in the lower right part of the tablet. It seems that the case design will be redone for this speaker and it could look like the image above. According to the same source, Apple would have already started the production of the new tablet and will launch it somewhere around the end of January, but to be honest I find it hard to believe that we will have it available so early.

So, what do you think of the changes?
