Using FaceTime with a Mac could prove problematic

Some time ago, Apple released a FaceTime application for Mac users, the application having the role of allowing Mac users to make FaceTime video calls with any iPhone 4/iPod Touch 4G. Problem the application on Mac is in the fact that it is not able to read phone numbers correctly by adding a demarcation point between the digits. Due to this demarcation, FaceTime calls cannot be initiated from the Mac, all attempts resulting in an error identical to the one in the message above.

The problem can be solved very simply by editing the contacts from the Mac using the Contacts application. Open that application, select the desired contacts and edit the phone number next to each one. After you edit the number, it should be displayed correctly in FaceTime and the application should initiate calls without problems.
