Yesterday the Twitter app for iDevices was updated in version 3.3 bringing many improvements including a new bar that displays the trending topics on Twitter. If you have installed the update, then you have already noticed how annoying this bar is and how long the topics marked "promoted" stay there, i.e. those that Twitter sells to various companies. If you don't like this new bar, then you can remove it very simply and easily if you have a jailbreak by installing a tweak called Twizzler from Cydia. The tweak only removes that bar with trending topics and nothing more, it will not affect the functionality of the application in any way.
