Video: Ringbow lets you control a tablet using a ring

Ringbow is a new ring model developed by a US company that allows us to control a tablet using the ring instead of the screen. The ring connects to the tablet wirelessly and allows the user to control the tablet interface through the ring. The ring has an integrated controller with 5 directions that allow the selection of various functions of an application or even to extend the functionality of the respective applications. The advantage of this ring is that it allows users to take certain actions that would not normally be possible on a touchscreen.

The Ringbow does solve a problem in an elegant way. Touch-screen apps generally have only limited ways to control them, so access to menu commands or secondary functions requires trips to full menus, which slows down the user. The Ringbow is a finger-mounted five-way controller (four compass directions plus pushing down) that makes blasting through accessory menus faster than it would be in most apps.

It's hard to believe that something like this could "catch" the public, but the idea is more than interesting.
