You probably wouldn't have expected something like this from the iPad 2 tablet and you probably haven't encountered the problem, but here's how antennagate RETURNS. It seems that some iPad 2 tablets lose Wi-Fi signal when the bottom near the speaker is covered. There would be the Wi-Fi antenna and if the palm covers that surface the tablet's signal drops to the point where the internet connection stops working. This is what those who made these 2 video clips and those who opened some are trying to tell us Announcements on the macrumours forum. With them, the problem manifests itself every time it covers the bottom of the iPad 2 tablet, so it's not a software problem.

I tested everything presented in the videos and on my tablet, but I did not manage to reproduce the problem. I don't think it's a problem that affects the iPad 2 tablet in general, but I think it's about some units that have manufacturing defects. Have any of you encountered this problem?
