iOS 5 and the possibility to delete individual entries from the call list

The Phone application of iOS 5 comes equipped with a function that many people have been waiting for since the launch of the iPhone 2G, the possibility to delete individual entries from the call list. Now the Phone application has an edit button on the top right, which as soon as it is pressed, it displays a button next to each call that allows us to delete what we want from the list of calls. Pressing the button opens another one on the right side which, as soon as it is activated, deletes the respective entry from the call list.

Of course, the old function of deleting the entire call list is kept and can be activated by the Clear button on the top left of the screen. There are quite a few tweaks in Cydia that implement this functionality in iOS, but Apple has finally decided to get rid of the need to install them. Almost all the phones available on the market had a function of this kind since the launch, but the iPhones did not and had to be jailbroken for it. Apple has washed away a little of the shame generated by the lack of a multitude of trivial functions and we will probably see others in the future.
