iOS 5 and the problem of connecting to Wi-Fi networks

We continue to unravel the problems of iOS 5 today with a very annoying one for me, the inability to connect to Wi-Fi networks sometimes. In the 2 weeks of using iOS 5, I had about 4-5 times the displeasure of finding that the hotspot I have at home is not displayed, even though the terminal was 1 meter from the router. The laptop saw the connection without problems, but the iPhone terminal refused to detect it and the problem was solved only with a restart of the terminal. Unfortunately, the problem manifests itself both when I had and when I didn't have a jailbreak, so it's an iOS problem and not one of the jailbreak itself.

Unfortunately, I encountered a similar situation when iOS 3 was released and I had an iPhone 3G, the terminal having exactly the same problem that ultimately led to the impossibility of detecting any Wi-Fi network no matter what applications I was using. I sold that iPhone 3G because it was unusable and I hope that now Apple will not put me in the same situation. I installed iOS 5 several times during these 2 weeks, I never chose to install a backup and still the problem was not solved, but I hope that beta 2 does not have the same problem, otherwise we may have to restart more often our terminals. Are there people among you who have encountered the same problem?
