Apple filters certain emails sent through MobileMe

Do you use MobileMe to send emails? If so, then maybe it would be good to know that Apple filters certain emails sent from the web interface of this service. Apparently, certain emails that contain texts with political messages, spam or other offensive content are not sent to the recipients but enter Apple's spam filter. This situation is encountered only in the case of using the web interface for sending emails, but not in the case of the Mac OS X mail application which sends emails without problems.

The authoritarian governments in Syria, Greece, Saudi Arabia and Yemen continue to oppress and massacre their own citizens. Their manipulative and combative attempts at controlling the media and their citizens are unethical and illegal. They continue to oppress its own citizens through beatings, harassment, jailing and killings.
Stop the oppression of innocent Arab People!!!
Take a stand against Authoritarian Oppressive Regimes!
Equal Rights to all people!

Those from cultfmac tried to send an email with the above message to 3 different email addresses but the MobileMe web interface refused to send the message. They did several tests and discovered that emails with other normal texts reached the recipients without problems, but those with the text above did not reach anywhere. They are not the only ones who discovered this problem because an American tried to send the message first to certain friends but found that the content is filtered by Apple.

If Apple filters the content without warning the users, then there is a big problem considering that the rights of customers to send messages to anyone are limited. Until then, these are just rumors, but Apple will probably change the system before others can confirm the problem.

UPDATE: Miraculously, Apple responded through a spokesperson and admitted that it automatically filters spam.

We want to make clear that Apple is not blocking MobileMe email due to political content," Apple spokesperson Trudy Muller said in an official statement. "Occasionally, MobileMe's automated spam filters may block legitimate user emails by mistake. If a customer feels that a legitimate email of theirs was blocked this way, we encourage them to get in touch and report the issue to MobileMe support.
