iOS 5 beta 4 brings the possibility to synchronize documents from applications directly with iCloud

Starting with iOS 5 beta 4, Apple offers users the possibility to synchronize documents made with third-party applications with the iCloud service. Practically, if you create a document with one of the iWork applications or those for editing Office or PDF documents, those documents will be automatically synchronized with iCloud. Of course, the synchronization is done for each application separately and in the case of a restore, the application will need to be reinstalled in the terminal so that the documents are displayed there.

Apps make it possible to create amazing presentations, write reports, and more right from your iOS device. You don't have to manage your documents in a complicated file system or remember to save your work. Your documents are just there, stored in your apps, and ready whenever you need them. And now, your apps can store that information in iCloud. Which means you can access your documents — with your latest updates — on whichever device you happen to be using at the time. Even better, this all happens automatically, without any effort from you.

The synchronization of documents will work both via Wi-Fi and via 3G and will be done on all devices where we are logged in with the same iCloud account. Practically, if we have the same iCloud account logged on both iPhone and iPad and we have the same applications installed on both devices, then the documents will automatically be displayed on both terminals with all changes. The Apple system is very useful for those who constantly work with documents on iDevices and need them both on a Mac and a PC.
