During the last evening Apple a released first beta version of iCloud.com, a web interface through which we can manage the data available in our iCloud account. In the video clip above we have a short demonstration of how the new website works and you can see how much the entire interface resembles that of iOS. From icons to the presentation of images, and even a Mail application inspired by the one for the iPad, and it seems that Apple intends to make it easier for users to understand what each part of iCloud does by offering functions with a design similar to those from their own terminals.

The web application from iCloud.com gives users access to Mail, Calendar, Address Book, Find My Phone and the new iWork application launched today for iOS. If you log in using an iCloud account, you will find there all the information from your iDevice, but unfortunately Apple only offers access to iCloud to iOS application developers, so even though you can log in now without problems, soon this will no longer be possible. The functions available now in iCloud.com are not the only ones because Apple must also add applications for viewing photos, saved applications, backups, documents, etc.

This evening, Apple also published a price list for the new iCloud, the prices are very good and represent an amount paid annually. To all values in GB, the free 5 GB available for users is added, so in total we are talking about a very good offer from Apple. Extending the available space can only be done from iOS 5 at the moment.

  • 10GB – €16/year
  • 20GB – €32/year
  • 50GB – €80/year

That's all about iCloud.com beta, if you are interested in testing the new web application then I recommend you to access iCloud.com now as much as possible. Below you will see images of the interface of the new service.
