In cursul acestei dimineti Skype a lansat versiunea pentru iPad a propriei aplicatii care permite utilizatorilor sa foloseasca pe propria tableta serviciile oferite de catre companie. Aplicatia pentru iPad a fost asteptata de milioane de utilizatori ai tabletei care au acum posibilitatea de a face apeluri audio/video direct de pe iPad 2 chiar si utilizand o retea de date 3G. Aplicatia aduce toate functiile disponibile deja in versiunea pentru iPhone/iPod Touch insa vorbim despre un UI modificat special pentru ecranul tabletei. Versiunea pentru iPad a aplicatiei este separata de cea pentru iPhone deci daca aveti 2 iDevice-uri va trebui sa instalati 2 aplicatii separate.
Din pacate aplicatia a fost retrasa imediat dupa lansare insa mai jos aveti cateva screenshot-uri si principalele caracteristici ale ei. Probabil in cursul zilei cei de la Skype vor decide sa o reintroduca in App Store.
