Application developers release updates compatible with iOS 5

Only one month separates us from the official release of iOS 5 in the App Store, but Apple already approve in the App Store applications compatible with the new iOS 5. The developers of the Camera+ and Mashable applications have already released in the App Store updates for the applications specifying that they are compatible with the new operating system. Although Mashable clearly says that the update brings compatibility with iOS 5, those from Camera+ say (in the style of Harry Potter) that the update brings compatibility with the operating system whose name we don't have to pronounce.

My opinion is that application developers are in a hurry because in a month Apple can release at least one more beta version of iOS 5 and can change a lot. All the work done now could be in vain, but many users have iOS 5 installed and are asking developers to update their applications, so probably what we see now is a response to the requests of "the many". The acceptance of these applications does not mean that Apple will rush the release of iOS 5, but if you have an application that does not work on iOS 5, it might be better to search for it in the App Store to see if it has not been updated in the meantime.
