Apple blocks malware disguised as flash player

A few days ago I told you that a new type of malware appeared on the Internet and that this malware it is disguised in a flash player installer for Mac OS X. The idea behind this malware is similar to that behind MacDefender which was malware disguised as an antivirus for Mac OS X. When Mac Defender infects Americans' Macs , Apple released a program that cleans the Mac of that malware and now the company updated the application to delete the new malware disguised in flash player.

Considering that little information about the new virus appeared on the Internet, it is very possible that few people were uninspired enough to install it on their own Mac. If you have not yet updated the definitions of the Mac OS X application that scans the system for Malware, I recommend that you do so now.
